I got into the silvers because I was intrigued by their color, but also because, when I was looking at them, I found it very hard to find a nice looking, blocky silver lab. I looked at them for two years before I found the ones I have now. They are well proportioned, squared off, with proper eye and ear set. Because the silvers have not been around as long as the other colors, there are few that are breeding worthy. So you have to watch for the breeding only for color and not for quality. I have placed puppies overseas because of the quality in my silvers. It has become my passion to produce a silver with proper conformation, substance and bone. This all started with Amos.
